Set for release on 14th April, The Fate of the Furious stars Jason alongside Charlize Theron, Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson. The latest installment in the franchise is centred on a mysterious woman who seduces Dom into the world of crime. Depicting themes of betrayal and courage, the crew face trials that will test them like never before. Jason will also star in Spy 2 and TV series Viva La Madness, which will both air later in 2017. However that’s not all as the midlands man is also filming Meg. Starring Ruby Rose, the plot revolves around a submersible, which lies disabled at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. An expert deep-sea diver is forced to confront his fears and risk everything but could the Megalodon still be alive? This action horror film is definitely not one for the kids! However, Jason isn’t just an actor. Eight years before he made his film debut in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, he was a professional diver. His love of diving started in school, and he was a member of the British National Diving Squad for over a decade, competing in the 1990 Commonwealth Games. He can also add model to his CV as he was spotted whilst diving by an agency. We can’t wait to see Jason in the latest Fast and Furious film and also wish him and Rosie the best of luck for parenthood n Image credit: Featureflash/Shutterstock.com
