Keep those fitness NY resolutions going! The New Year celebration is a great excuse to try and change yourself for the better. Some people promise to give up something, some promise that they will find a new job. Some may decide that the turn of the year is their chance to get fit and look after themselves better. The only trouble with this is that as February comes around, the drive to achieve your New Year resolutions can start to disappear. A real shame if you have made an effort throughout January. So, with fitness as the focus, we have put together some of the fit and fabulous tips that you can try out for February, all of which will help you to focus on your fitness goals well into the New Year. Find someone to work out with You may have found that you had enough motivation to get out and about during January on your own. But as February kicks in, the passion to get fit alone might not feel quite as tempting. If this is a struggle for you, then it might be a good idea to try and find someone to work out with. Working out with someone is so much better, not only does it stop you feeling lonely but it also helps you to stay on track. Especially since you won’t want to let anyone down. Try a new workout or class FIT AND FABULOUS TIPS FOR FEBRUARY Feeling that your January routine is, well becoming a little too routine for you? You might need to mix things up a bit. Think about a different type of workout that you can do, or maybe sign up for a new fitness class? Both of these things can really help you to get your mojo back and really aim for your goals. Sign up for an early year race Sometimes you need the motivation to really push yourself forward, which means that having a goal for your fitness is a great way to really motivate you to try harder. There are plenty of races out there in the early part of the year and putting your name down for one of these is going to give you the drive that you need to really get to your goals. Remind yourself why you are doing it We can all lose sight of why we are doing something, especially when it comes to fitness goals. Which means that sometimes all you need to do is remind yourself why are you doing it in the first place. Take a look at the reasons behind deciding to make this your New Year’s resolution and use this as the motivation to push you through February and maybe even further through the year. Don’t let February beat your fitness goals. Make an effort to keep in the fitness groove and before long we are sure that you will not only feel great but that you will look great too. Which will make all that effort completely worthwhile n
